powered by peer pressure
Every teen knows that texting and driving kills, yet they do it anyway because they want to stay constantly connected to friends. So who better to tell them not to text and drive? Introducing Call Me Out, the app that activates callouts recorded by friends and family when you reach for your phone while behind the wheel: the app that saves lives.
Call Me Out received national media attention upon launch. App metrics reported that while in use, 95% of notifications were ignored – that's millions of distractions IGNORED and countless lives saved.
After download, the user can invite friends and family to record and share their callouts. When the user is driving more than 5 mph, the app uses driving detection capability, the accelerometer on the device and a gyroscope to detect when someone picks up the phone while driving. That’s when they hear their callouts.
